- c.1150. In the foreground the diagonally slanting infirmary buildings, beyound them the square cloister, and to its west the hospices and stables. The small church in the centre is the remains of the second of the abbey's churches, built under Abbot Mayeul (954-94). The colossal third church to its right was begun in 1088 under Abbot Hugh (1049-1109).
